Tuesday night’s horrific incident caused suffering and sorrow at Bala Cynwyd Middle School. Following serious injuries he received in an automobile accident, Tim Mohan, a father, brother, and seasoned social studies teacher at Bala Cynwyd Middle School, passed suddenly, according to school authorities.
The impact on his community of this tragedy is immense. Tim spent thirty years as a history teacher in the eighth grade at Bala Cynwyd Middle School.
“This is such incredibly sad news. Tim Mohan was my camp counselor for the Teen Horizons teen tour at the JCC Kaiserman JCC more than 25 years ago. I remember him as having a great way to connect with us campers while still making sure to enforce the rules.”
To everyone he encountered, Tim radiated warmth, friendliness, and sincere concern, as everyone who knew him would attest. For everyone he loved, he was one of the greatest moments of their life.
He will be terribly missed. He gave his community so much that everyone is currently dealing with a tremendous loss that no family should ever have to go through. May Tim always remain in your thoughts and prayers during the days, weeks, and years ahead for the entire Mohan family.
