Billy Morgan Death Notice, Premier, WV, Longtime Resident Has Sadly Passed Away – Obituary
Billy Morgan Death Notice – The passing of Ruby P. Steele, who had been a resident of Monmouth, Illinois, occurred when she was 90 years old. We wish to convey our deepest condolences to you as we deliver this news. Ruby passed away serenely and peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at one minute and fifty-seven seconds past the hour, all within the confines of the Monmouth Nursing Home located in Monmouth, Illinois.
On September 6, 1933, in the town of Carman, Illinois, Ruby Waterman was born to her parents, Earl and Linda May (Smith) Waterman. The Smith surname was her mother’s maiden name. She acquired her education and spent her formative years in the Lomax/Dallas City region, which is where she was located at the time.
On March 25, 1963, Ruby Steele and Bud H. Steele exchanged vows to one another. On February 6, 2016, Bud H. Steele went away, which was a few days after she had already passed away. Ruby was a devoted caregiver who found delight in the little pleasures that life had to offer. She was a housewife. Her time spent fishing, participating in hobbies such as word searches and crossword puzzles, and dancing to music were all things that she cherished. Ruby, however, valued the time she spent with her family and friends above all else. She enjoyed this time more than anything else.
There are only two members of Ruby’s family who have survived her passing: her loving daughter, Betty Sue Steele, and her son, Bud (Star Jones) Steele, both of whom reside in Monmouth, Illinois. A significant number of her nieces and nephews, as well as fourteen great-grandchildren, are among the people she leaves behind. Her grandchildren include Darren (Lindsay), Ashley (Wes), Blaid (Kelly), Austin, Codi (Kayla), and Zach. She also leaves behind a large number of great-grandchildren. All of her relatives, including her parents and siblings, had already passed away before her own passing.
Ruby has expressed her intention to have her corpse cremated, and this is being carried out in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service paying tribute to the departed will be held at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM.
The service will be held in honor of the deceased. Visitors are welcome to stop by the funeral home between the hours of 9:30 and 10:30 in the morning, which is two hours before the formal service is due to start. Without sending flowers, you are more than welcome to make a memorial contribution to Western Illinois Animal Rescue, which is based in Monmouth, Illinois. You can find more information about the organization here.
We ask that you continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this challenging time. Please keep them in your prayers as further information becomes available.
