Her sudden demise changed my life and the neighborhood’s. The memories of Maggie’s fierce competitiveness, charity, and faith that touched so many lives will preserve her legacy.
Maggie’s death and legacy will sadden me, but she was more than a player—she was a bright example of faith, grit, and tenacity. Her passing reminds us to enjoy every moment and honour her memory by showing the same passion, determination, and self-confidence she showed on and off the pitch.

Funeral for Maggie McCracken
On Monday, April 8, 2024, Reverend Tom Owens and Reverend Paul Brown will officiate a 3 p.m. funeral at Wells Funeral Home’s Canton Chapel. Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery will hold the burial. The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. before the ceremony.
