The inmates involved were identified as Willie Crayton, Jake Jones, Bruce Clements, Thomas Bass, Heath Garrett, Shawn Wasden, and Richard Jackson. Tragically, Willie Crayton was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, while Bruce Clements succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
