June Anneliese Florian Car Accident: In loving memory of Harrison High School senior killed in crash on State Road 26 West in Tippecanoe County.
The woman who lost her life in the deadly collision on State Road 26 West in Tippecanoe County has been identified.
The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office reports that June Anneliese Florian, age 18, passed away following a head-on collision on S.R. 26.
Police said that at about 7:30 a.m., a collision occurred when Florian’s Dodge Caliber crossed the center line and proceeded west, hitting a 60-year-old woman driving an eastbound Chrysler.
The driver of the Chrysler was taken to IU Hospital and is presently listed in critical but stable condition. Florian was pronounced deceased at the site.
For around three hours while the investigation was underway, the road was closed. Florian attended Harrison High School as a senior.
Tippecanoe School Corp. is very devastated by this loss, according to a spokeswoman. To further assist our children and staff, our schools have more counselors on hand. The family is still in our prayers and thoughts.”
