Gilberto Gutierrez Death – The individual who was fatally shot outside a bar in northwest Fresno has been identified as Gilberto Gutierrez, aged 38.
Officers responded to a call at Ewell’s Place, located on the northwest corner of Shaw and Marks Avenues, shortly before 2 am on Sunday.
According to authorities, Gutierrez was engaged in an altercation that escalated into gunfire. He was discovered with at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot in front of the bar. Gutierrez was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect fled the scene promptly, and no details regarding the suspect have been disclosed by the police.
