Victor Godyn Death – The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation following reports of a collision involving a bicycle at the intersection of Castleberry Road and Kings Common Way on Saturday around 4:20 p.m.
The victim, identified as 71-year-old Victor Godyn of Cumming, was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck while passing through the intersection.
Tragically, Godyn was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 48-year-old Matthew Molbrook, has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI drugs as he was found to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. The case is currently under investigation.
