Morris Combs Obituary – week, a fatal crash involving a dump truck near Bennington resulted in the death of a 69-year-old man, as reported by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place at the intersection of N 240th Street and Pawnee Road on Thursday.
According to deputies, a red Chevy Sonic and a Sterling dump truck were traveling eastbound on Pawnee Road.
The dump truck attempted to make a northbound turn onto 240th Street when it collided with the Chevy, which was trying to overtake the truck in the westbound lane.
The driver of the Chevy, identified as Morris Combs from Fremont, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have stated that the crash is currently under investigation.
