Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, an Assyrian religious leader, was stabbed on Monday at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley.

Following the incident, he reportedly prayed for his purported attacker. It comes as police report that 45 patrol cars needed to be towed after the subsequent disturbance.
