Brandon Clark Obituary – On Monday afternoon, the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday in Grand Rapids was officially identified.
The individual was identified as Brandon Clark, aged 39. The Kent County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Clark and determined that his death was a result of homicide.
The incident took place at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, prompting the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) to respond to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Lafayette Ave SE.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered Clark and immediately initiated life-saving measures. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Clark was later pronounced dead.
Following the investigation, the police apprehended 24-year-old Dayshaun Catledge, who is believed to be responsible for shooting and killing Clark. Catledge has since been charged with open murder and felony firearm charges in connection with the incident.
