Laverda Robinson,Joresse Williams Obituary – The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the two women who were killed in a shooting incident during the second week of April as Laverda Robinson, 35, and Joresse Williams, 32.
The tragic event took place on April 10 at the 1100 block of Howe Avenue, as reported by Sgt. Amar Gandhi, the spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The two women were shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex and succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The suspect in this double homicide case, Ricky Hunter, 32, was found dead on April 11 after shooting himself near Arden Fair Mall.
Deputies located Hunter at an AT&T store close to the mall and attempted to arrest him as he got into his car.
Unfortunately, Hunter took his own life by shooting himself in the chest before he could be apprehended. Despite efforts to save him, the suspect passed away.
