Erik Berger Death – The Carver County Sheriff’s Office has identified 33-year-old Erik Berger of St. Paul as the victim of an apparent “violent assault” in Chanhassen.
Berger was found by his parents in the garage area on Friday afternoon, where they called 911 and attempted CPR, but he unfortunately passed away at the scene.
Authorities later located a person of interest in Minneapolis, who was found deceased from a self-inflicted wound.
The sheriff’s office has confirmed that Berger and the person of interest were acquainted, and there is no additional threat to the public.
