Blake E. Broadbent Death – On Monday, the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office identified the victim of a plane crash in San Bernardino as 35-year-old Blake E. Broadbent, a resident of Riverside.
The incident occurred on Saturday night when a plane departing from Stockton crashed. FlightRadar24 data confirms the plane’s departure from Stockton.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses reported hearing the plane sputter and crash in the northern part of San Bernardino at approximately 8:21 p.m. on Saturday.
Despite the deputies’ response, the mountainous terrain prevented them from conducting a thorough search. Additionally, the weather conditions hindered the efforts of the sheriff’s Aviation Division.
However, on Sunday, the Aviation Division discovered a debris field in the mountains north of Devil’s Canyon. Search and Rescue teams, accompanied by an investigator from the coroner’s office, were dispatched to the area. It was there that they discovered the body of a man.
The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed that the crash involved a twin-engine Gulfstream AC95. Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board is conducting an independent investigation into the incident.
