De Quan Watson Obituary, Death; – Former Illinois resident De’Quan Watson, 27, has been identified as the victim of an alleged homicide that occurred on April 10 in Anaconda.
Following a domestic disturbance, Watson was found dead in a residence, and his body was subsequently transferred to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for further investigation.
Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Police Chief Bill Sather released Watson’s name, along with his date of birth on August 30, 1996. Leann Ashaun Malcolm appeared in Anaconda’s Justice Court on April 11, facing charges of deliberate homicide and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
A bond of $1 million was set. In an effort to bring Watson’s body back to Springfield, Illinois, a GoFundMe account has been created by family member Cierra Watson. The family is seeking donations to facilitate the final viewing and peaceful laying to rest of their loved one.
