Austyn Senters Obituary – Police have positively identified the deceased individual involved in a car motorcycle collision on South Cedar Street on April 9 as Austyn Senters, a 25-year-old resident of Lansing.
Senters was operating a motorcycle that crashed into a car at the intersection of South Cedar Street and Elm Street around 2:20 p.m. He was declared deceased upon arrival at a medical facility.
The driver of the car, a 71-year-old woman, was also transported to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition following the incident. Authorities mentioned that the collision was being investigated at the time and did not disclose any additional information apart from revealing Senters’ identity.
Wearing a helmet during the accident, Senters was originally from the Flint area and had relocated to Lansing approximately five years ago. He was employed as a technician at Mercedes-Benz of Okemos and had a passion for cars, motorcycles, as well as spending time with his friends and family, as indicated in an online obituary.
According to the obituary, “Austyn enjoyed engaging in outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, and hiking. He took pride in his white Ducati Panigali and cherished riding alongside his extensive circle of friends.

A funeral service for Senters is scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. on April 19 at Swartz Funeral Home, located at 1225 W. Hill Road in Flint. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects starting at 11 a.m. on the same day.
