New Haven woman Death: Allen County coroner identifies victim of Monday crash on I-469.
New Haven woman Death – The 62-year-old New Haven woman who was killed in a crash along I-469 on Monday afternoon has been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 4:25 p.m. on northbound I-469, north of U.S. 24.
Traffic was at a standstill in the area due to construction when a semi collided with a car, resulting in a chain reaction involving five vehicles. Tragically, one of the drivers lost their life at the scene.
The deceased driver was confirmed by the coroner on Tuesday as Lois Roberta Kohlhepp of New Haven. Her death was determined to be accidental, making it the 5th motor vehicle fatality of the year.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing and being conducted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
