Denise Luttio Mahar Obituary, Woman, killed while saving Dog in Gwinner House Fire
Denise Luttio Mahar Obituary – Denise Luttio-Mahar, aged thirty-nine, was tragically identified as the victim of a fatal fire that occurred in Gwinner, North Dakota early Sunday morning.
Upon noticing smoke inside the house, Mahar promptly called 911 around 4 a.m.
Despite the efforts of fire crews who found her and rushed her to Lisbon Hospital, she was pronounced dead. Regrettably, a dog also perished in the fire. Fortunately, a man on the first floor managed to escape along with two dogs.
The medical examiner concluded that Luttio-Mahar succumbed to smoke inhalation. The fire is suspected to have originated in the basement, and the state fire marshal’s office is currently investigating the incident.
