Eric Cook Obituary, Man killed in 2-vehicle crash in Tangipahoa Parish
Eric Cook Obituary – A man lost his life in a fatal collision in Tangipahoa Parish on the night of April 15, as reported by troopers.
Louisiana State Police identified the victim as Eric Cook, a 45-year-old resident of Hammond.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and South Baptist Road.
Initial findings suggest that Cook was traveling north on South Baptist Road in a Toyota Carolla, while a Honda CRV was traveling east on U.S. Highway 190.
According to troopers, the driver of the Honda disregarded a red light, resulting in a collision with Cook’s vehicle. Cook was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Honda CRV sustained minor injuries. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
