Jason Jones Death – The fatal accident at the junction of State Road 13 and County Road 1000 South is currently under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators, a Buick LeSabre driven by 24-year-old Jason Jones from South Whitley collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 61-year-old woman from North Manchester.
It has been determined that Jones, who was traveling eastbound, failed to yield, leading to the collision.
Tragically, Jones lost his life at the scene of the accident. The woman involved in the crash was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for lower body pain.
