Fatal Car Accident: Hendersonville, TN Cafe Rakka owner loses wife Linda Alkasem, mother-in-law, sister-in-law Debbie Wall in a car accident

Cafe Rakka in Hendersonville, TN has announced its doors will be closed for the next three days following the sudden demise of the owner’s wife, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law on Sunday. Linda Alkasem, her mother Evelyn, and her sister Debbie Wall died in a car accident early Sunday morning, Mr. Alkasem announced. Linda Alkasem and her husband owned the famous Live Fresh Restaurant Cafe Rakka at 71 New Shackle Island, Hendersonville, TN. The couple shared a lifelong dream of making fresh foods from scratch to finish for the public at an affordable price.

Mr. Alkasem wrote on the restaurant’s social media pages: “Cafe Rakka will be closed for 3 days of mourning to the loss of my wife and my partner in life, the mother of my kids, and the visionary of our business. Linda Alkasem has left this world today due to a car accident along with her sister Debbie Wall and their mother Evelyn they all didn’t survive the accident. Linda has lived a beautiful life story and left a family that loves her and friends who will remember her. She is a kind, beautiful, and wonderful mother and grandmother. Our family is going to miss them all very much.”

Fatal collision off Interstate 24 in South Nashville, TN

The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a crash involving 19-year-old Kevonta Lane, of Nashville was driving a 2017 Infiniti Q50 in a westerly direction on I-24. The vehicle unexpectedly veered the interstate and entered the right lane, subsequently entering a grassy area and then a wooded region. The car was briefly airborne before coming to a stop in the grass behind a location in the 500 block of Metroplex Drive.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, but it was not reported until shortly after 4 a.m., according to officials Lane’s family received a phone call at around 4 a.m., informing them that the victim had been involved in a car accident. She located the vehicle using a GPS application and dialed 911. The I-24 highway was fully closed to all vehicles at approximately 5:15 a.m., and westbound traffic was redirected at the Harding Place exit. Nevertheless, the interstate was reopened at approximately 6:15 a.m.

According to the police, the security footage reveals that a sedan entered the parking lot at the specified address shortly after the accident occurred. According to reports, two individuals exited their vehicle, approached the Infiniti, returned to their vehicle, and then went back to the Infiniti before finally departing.
