Michael Bishop And Travis Perdue Passes Away After Pursuit Ends In Crash In Bedford County
The two people who died in the stolen motorcycle crash were identified by the authorities as Travis Perdue, 46, of Thaxton, Virginia, and Michael Bishop, 35, of Blue Ridge, Virginia.
The crash happened on Saturday morning at the intersection of Rt. 24 and Goodview Rd. in Bedford County.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash involved a Harley Davidson that had been reported stolen and was being pursued by law enforcement when it collided with a Subaru that was making a left turn onto Goodview Rd.
The two people were thrown from the motorcycle and died at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The victims were both wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
