A graduate of Rocky Hill School and longtime worker at Kirby Perkins Construction in Middletown, Rhode Island, has died. Seamus Kirby was born and raised on Rhodes Island.
Hewas an alumnus of the College of Charleston. According to his LinkedIn profile, Seamus family owned the Kirby Perkins Construction company.
A family friend who also identified himself as Seamus’s personal hair stylist said he watched Seamus grow from a boy into a man, a husband, and a father of two beautiful children.
In a lengthy tribute, Shannon Lee described what it was like after finding out Seamus passed away.
“I don’t even know where to start because devastated isn’t a strong enough word. But, 14 years of being your hairdresser. You were just a kid in high school when you first sat in my chair.
I couldn’t understand the words that I was told “Seamus passed away” I almost dropped to my knees in disbelief. Who? What? Not, No! This can’t be real. Oh my God your family That’s all.
I can’t get it out of my head. His beautiful family! Then days passed and It’s hard to comprehend That I won’t get the last-minute text that I still have said “Oh shit, I look homeless, help!” (you had such a way with words.” Lee wrote.
I watched you grow into a proud father and husband. Fear wasn’t in your vocabulary, This world has lost a great person and I don’t think we will heal from this one EVER.”I know I won’t and I was just your hairdresser. RIP TO ONE OF THE GREATEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.
