Piankhi H. Bruce Obituary – A shooting incident that occurred over the weekend in Cleveland has resulted in the death of a 42-year-old man from North Ridgeville.
The victim has been identified as Piankhi H. Bruce by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Friday at approximately 8:10 p.m., Cleveland police received an alert from the “ShotSpotter” system regarding the incident on Friendly Court.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered the man with multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead by Cleveland EMS at the scene.
According to preliminary information provided by the Cleveland police, it appears that the victim was outside the location when a group of males arrived, leading to a verbal altercation and ultimately shots being fired at the victim.
The Cleveland Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident, and no further details have been released at this time.
