Missing Dad, Robert Long Of 7 Found Dead In Illinois River Days After He Disappeared
Robert Long, a father of seven who had been missing for more than a week, has been verified to have died and been found dead in an Illinois river by the authorities.
Long was last seen at his North Bluff Street home on April 11, and the Joliet Police Department reported him missing on April 13.
Long’s body was discovered in the Des Plaines River on April 19 by the Joliet Fire Department. The public has not been informed of the reason behind or mode of his death.
In expressing her sorrow, Long’s mother Jewell Robinson said that her son was a cherished person who was renowned for his dependability.
Prior to his abduction, Long had left his cell phone at his residence. There’s no proof of foul play as of yet, albeit it’s unclear how he got into the river.
Authorities are offering their sincere condolences to Long’s family and friends during this trying time, and the inquiry into his death is still ongoing.
