64 Years Old Coroner IDs Man, Donzie Arnette Passes Away In Harrison Twp Shooting
Dr. Kent Harshbarger, the Montgomery County Coroner, reported that 64-year-old Donzie Arnette had passed away in the night before Monday.
There was a shooting incident on Sunday about 11:40 p.m., so Montgomery County Sheriff’s office deputies were sent to the 700 block of Wilbur Avenue.
The woman, 55, had gunshot wounds to her abdomen when they arrived.
After making it to a neighbor’s house on foot, the woman was able to get help by calling emergency services. Deputies then came to a man who they subsequently identified as Arnette, who had also been shot in the abdomen.
It was alleged that the woman was in critical condition when the two of them were brought to a nearby hospital. The woman and Arnette were allegedly in a relationship, which leads investigators to believe that the shooting was related to a domestic quarrel. Subordinate to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, the investigation is still underway.
