Graviela Morrillo Angel Obituary – The identification of the victim involved in a fatal pedestrian traffic incident on the West Side Sunday afternoon has been disclosed.
The investigators announced at approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, revealing that Graviela Morrillo Angel, a 52-year-old individual, was tragically hit and killed during a traffic accident on Potranco Road, between North Ellison Drive and Duglas Road.
According to authorities, the accident occurred when the victim was walking in an eastbound direction on the north sidewalk. A vehicle, attempting to make a left turn from the eastbound lane into a private driveway, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.
As a result, the vehicle that attempted the turn was redirected onto the north sidewalk, ultimately striking Angel. Tragically, Angel was pronounced dead at the scene by the San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD). Both drivers involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigators.
