Corinna Johnson Obituary – The family of a Texas woman who was found beaten to death in a closet claims that she had been a victim of domestic abuse for a long time. The Dallas police received a call from the Garland Police Department on April 15, reporting a murder at a Dallas apartment.
Omar Lucio, 34, initially refused to come outside but was eventually taken into custody. The woman was found unresponsive inside the apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene. Lucio has been charged with murder and is currently in Dallas County Jail. He also faces additional charges related to highway racing and a collision causing serious injury.
The deceased woman, identified as Corinna Johnson by her family, had been in a tumultuous relationship with Lucio for six years. Her family had warned her about the dangers of being with him. The investigation revealed a trail of blood leading from the front door to the bathroom and into a bedroom closet, where Johnson was found wrapped in bedsheets. Bloody clothes were also discovered in Lucio’s car.
