Halifax Panthers are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of King Cross Park RLFC U18s player Henry Grierson.

We’d like to express our dearest condolences to all of Henry’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.

Henry had such a zest for life and was an adventurous, fun and outgoing young man, months away from starting his journey into adulthood.

He was lightning quick with jokes and he touched everyone around him with his great sense of humour.

Henry was making his way with the under-19’s team, having joined his brother Jacob in the squad. He was a bright light on the team and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was always around the lads and became part of the furniture at the club. It is hard to take in that this photo was only taken just over 2 weeks ago as part of our media day to now acknowledge that he is no longer with us.

Losing somebody at such a young age is hard to take in, so as a club, we are simply thankful for the time we had with him and would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and anybody who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in peace, young man.

Feel free to drop condolence messages and prayers for the family and friends of the deceased, as it will go a very long way at this difficult time of theirs.
