Gracie Harper Obituary, Death; – An unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday, April 17 in the 17000 block of Dawson Road, resulting in the tragic death of a 19-year-old individual.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office conducted a preliminary investigation and determined that Gracie Harper, the victim, had lost control of her vehicle while traveling eastbound at an unsafe speed.
The vehicle veered off the road, colliding with a utility pole and subsequently hitting a tree. Harper was immediately airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
Regrettably, on Monday, the Dawson Springs Independent School System conveyed the heartbreaking news of Harper’s passing to their school community.
Harper, who had graduated from Dawson Springs the previous year, succumbed to her injuries sustained in the crash.
The authorities are currently continuing their investigation into the incident.
