London Police Investigate Stabbing after Man Hospitalized with Chest Wound in Bermondsey
London Police in Bermondsey say a man was swiftly transported to a medical center after a stabbing incident left him with a critical ‘chest wound on Monday.’ The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. in Bermondsey.
Emergency services, including an ambulance, arrived at the site on Camilla Road at the junction with Lynton Road at approximately 1:43 pm.
The injured individual received immediate medical attention at the location and was then transported to a prominent trauma hospital via ambulance.
A spokeswoman from the London Ambulance Service stated that they received a call today at 1:43 pm (April 23) regarding a stabbing incident on Camilla Road, SE16.
“We dispatched various personnel, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, an incident response officer, and members of our tactical response squad, to the location. In addition, we sent London’s Air Ambulance.
The initial paramedics reached the location in under a minute. “We provided medical care to an individual with a chest injury at the location and promptly transported him to a specialized medical facility equipped to handle severe injuries.”
London Police say the suspect involved in the incident fled the scene on a motorbike. His identity was not released at the time of this publication. Anyone with information is urged to contact the London Police Service.
