A devastating event occurred in southwest Oklahoma City, where a family of five was found deceased in their home on Monday, April 22, 2024. The local police are currently investigating the case as a domestic incident that tragically ended in violence.
Authorities identified the victims as Jonathon Candy, his wife Lindsay Terry Candy, and their three sons, Dylan, Ethan, and Lucas. The police report indicates that Jonathon fatally shot his wife and three children before taking his own life. A fourth child was present during the incident but was unharmed and has since been released to a relative.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a domestic altercation between Jonathon and Lindsay. A neighbor, identified only as Weston, shared personal reflections on the family, describing them as exceptional neighbors and individuals. “RIP Jonathon Candy, Lindsay Terry Candy, and boys! You all will be greatly missed! You were all awesome people and great friends. Will never understand why this happened! You were some of the best neighbors my dad ever had and Jon you were a great hand when you worked with me and one of the funniest guys I ever knew,” he stated.
