In White House, Tennessee, authorities have apprehended and accused an individual of murder after a deadly shooting incident that unfolded at a residence on Monday evening.

Reports indicate that the occurrence transpired approximately at 11:30 pm on Monday, within the confines of a residence situated at 1807 Winding Way, situated in an unincorporated area of White House, Tennessee.

Following notifications of the shooting, law enforcement deputies promptly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation, where they encountered 33-year-old Jacob Allen Garrett of White House, Tennessee, who purportedly admitted to the shooting.

Garrett allegedly confessed to deputies that he had fatally shot a man identified as Patrick Joseph Fullerton. Upon further examination, deputies discovered Fullerton’s lifeless body inside the domicile, alongside a .22 caliber revolver and attire stained with blood.

Following that, detectives meticulously searched the area, which resulted in the discovery of additional evidence, according to officials.

Jacob Allen Garrett was subsequently taken into custody and charged with 2nd-degree murder, in addition to tampering with evidence.
