Jack Becker Obituary, Man killed in Richfield crash involving ATV
Richfield resident Jack Becker, 54, tragically lost his life in a collision while driving his ATV on Monday. The incident occurred on Main Street near 1100 South in Richfield when Jack’s utility terrain vehicle was struck by a Hyundai Elantra around 4 p.m.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the ATV turned left in front of the Elantra at the intersection, resulting in a broadside collision that caused the ATV to roll.
Jack, who was not restrained, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. A pregnant passenger in the Elantra was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Jack Becker was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. He cherished the freedom of exploring the countryside on his ATV and was often seen enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
