Manisha Rajendra Patel, Sangita Bhavnesh Patel Obituary – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identities of the three women who lost their lives in the I-85 collision in Greenville County.
Manisha Rajendra Patel, Sangita Bhavnesh Patel, and Rekhaben Dilip Patel have been identified as the deceased individuals, as confirmed by the coroner.
The incident occurred at approximately noon on Interstate 85 at Staunton Bridge Road. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the collision implicated a 2020 Volvo SUV. While the driver of the Volvo sustained injuries, the three women tragically lost their lives in the accident.
Authorities stated that the Volvo SUV, in which the women were traveling, was speeding in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85.
As per the officials, the Volvo SUV veered off the roadway onto the right-hand shoulder, ascended the embankment, crashed through the cement bridge embankment, and cleared all four lanes of traffic.
Subsequently, it passed through some trees on the opposite side of the road and descended an embankment. The Volvo collided with trees at a height of at least 20 feet above the ground and disintegrated into pieces among the trees.
Ellis mentioned that certain relatives of the victims were informed by the vehicle itself about the crash. The family then notified acquaintances in Greenville and were en route to the location by Friday afternoon
