Houston Police Seek Two Suspects in Fatal Shooting of Quincy Johnson on Sunbury Street; Surveillance Photos Released
The Houston Police Department has released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 40-year-old Quincy Johnson on April 18. The shooting occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m. at 7959 Sunbury Street, and the suspects are described as two black males, one wearing a red hoodie and the other wearing a gray hoodie.
According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective K. Stringer, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the address and found Johnson unresponsive in his apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased from a gunshot wound at the scene.
Witnesses reported that Johnson was standing outside on his balcony when two male suspects walked by and shot him. Further investigation and evidence from the scene developed the suspect descriptions, and surveillance photos of both suspects have been released to the public.
