Mark Frey Obituary, Death Past President of Brewster Rotary Club and Devoted Family Man, Passes Away After Courageous Battle with Cancer; Community Mourns Loss of Beloved Leader and Philanthropist”.

Mark Frey, a pillar of the New Fairfield, CT community and past president of the Brewster Rotary Club, has passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, after a two-year battle with cancer. His son announced his passing through a heartfelt post, describing the immense loss and pain of saying goodbye to a loving father, partner, and friend.

Mark Frey was a devoted family man, whose love and patience knew no bounds. As a father, he guided his children with wisdom and affection, shaping them into remarkable individuals. As a partner, he stood steadfast by his companion’s side, offering strength and solace through life’s challenges. To his siblings, Mark was a confidant and friend, sharing laughter and tears and creating an unbreakable bond.

Beyond his family, Mark touched countless lives with his generosity and compassion. His down-to-earth personality made him approachable to all, and his willingness to lend a helping hand knew no bounds. Whether volunteering in his community or offering a sympathetic ear to a friend in need, Mark’s impact reverberated far and wide.

Mark Frey’s legacy extends to his leadership roles, including his presidency of the Brewster Rotary Club. His dedication to service and philanthropy inspired others to follow in his footsteps, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

Mark is survived by his loving companion, Lauren Canno, and Debbie Perler, the mothers of his children; his beloved sons, Richard Frey (Alexa), Jaden Canno-Frey, and Isana Canno-Frey; his caring brothers, Robert Frey and Edward Frey; and his devoted parents, Stuart and Arlene Frey.

Funeral services for Mark will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Hellman Memorial Chapels in Spring Valley, NY, followed by a committal service at Beth-El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.

As the community comes together to mourn the loss of Mark Frey, they will also celebrate his life and legacy, remembering his boundless love, generosity, and compassion. His impact will continue to inspire and motivate others to make a difference in the world.
