David LeBoeuf, a 20-year-old male, has been identified as the victim who was fatally stabbed on the Northbridge town common on Friday night. According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the stabbing incident also resulted in significant injuries to an unidentified 17-year-old male.

The district attorney’s office reported that an unidentified 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. The police arrived at the scene at approximately 9:25 p.m. and found a disordered and confusing situation.

The two victims were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where LeBoeuf succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have reported that the individuals engaged in the stabbing incident were acquainted with each other, and the two victims sustained stab wounds as a result of a physical altercation.

According to a GoFundMe page set up by Amy LeBoeuf, David’s mother, David was a hero who died saving his younger brother. The altercation occurred when David’s younger brother was being stabbed several times, and David intervened, resulting in him being stabbed in the heart.

David was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery but unfortunately passed away on May 4th, 2024, in the early morning hours. His younger brother survived and is currently in recovery.

The GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family with funeral expenses and to provide for David’s unborn child, who is expected to be born this year. David was excited to become a father and had recently gotten engaged to his girlfriend, Taralina.

David was a talented baseball player, musician, and chef, who had a passion for cooking and had recently started a new business. He had also purchased his first new car just days before his passing.

The community is coming together to support the LeBoeuf family during this difficult time, and the GoFundMe page has already raised a significant amount of money. David will be remembered for his heroism, his bright smile, and his big heart.
