Since 2003, Dr. Kelleher had been teaching medieval history at CSU Long Beach, inspiring generations of students with her expertise and enthusiasm. Her research interests included medieval Spain and the Mediterranean world, gender, and medieval law.
Dr. Kelleher’s work was highly acclaimed, and her book, “The Measure of Woman: Law and Female Identity in the Crown of Aragon,” received the prestigious “Premio del Rey” award in 2012 from the American Historical Association. This honor recognized her book as the best work on early Iberian history.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kelleher received numerous national awards and fellowships, a testament to her outstanding scholarship and contributions to the field of history.
