Gallup Shooting: 25-Year-Old Anfernee Pino Killed, Three Others Injured in Deadly Shooting; Police Seek Tyrell Bitsilly as Person of Interest
A devastating shooting incident occurred in the early hours of May 5, 2024, in the area of Trade Mart Square, Gallup, New Mexico. The Gallup Police Investigation team was called to investigate a homicide after multiple shots were fired at 1500 South Second Street.
According to reports, the shooting took place at approximately 1:16 A.M., and officers arrived on the scene to find a male lying on the ground. The victim, later identified as 25-year-old Anfernee E. Pino, was transported to the local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Further investigation revealed that four males had been shot, with two of them, including Pino, dying from their injuries. A third male and a juvenile male were treated and released from the hospital.
The Gallup Police Department (GPD) has identified 26-year-old Tyrell Bitsilly, of Vanderwagen, New Mexico, as a person of interest in the shooting. Bitsilly is sought for questioning, and the GPD is urging anyone with information or witnesses to come forward.
