Chase Yarns Obituary: Tragic Death of a Shining Star – Word of Life Bible Institute Alumnus and Devoted Son, Brother, and Uncle Passes Away
Chase Yarns, a bright and compassionate young man, tragically passed away on Monday morning, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion. Born in 1998 at CMC in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Chase was one of the first quadruplets born in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Chase’s life was a testament to his strong faith, passion for life, and dedication to his loved ones. He was an accomplished athlete, participating in track and field and cross-country at Abington Heights High School, and went on to graduate with high honors from Word of Life Bible Institute and Clarks Summit University.
Chase’s love for music, running, and helping others was evident in everything he did. He taught himself to play the guitar, finished the Steamtown Marathon in 2022, and was an active member of several clubs and organizations dedicated to serving others.
As a son, brother, and uncle, Chase was cherished by his family and friends for his quick wit, sense of humor, and infectious smile. His passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of those who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, where friends and family can pay their respects from 11 am until the time of the service.
