Born on August 18, 2004, in Niles, Michigan, to Jason and Kelly Dillenbeck, Deacon was a shining light in the lives of everyone he touched.
Deacon’s passion for life was evident in his love for golf, video games, and spending time with his loved ones. As a crane service technician at Hoosier Crane Service Company, he was dedicated to his work and treated his coworkers like family. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he was always looked forward to going to work. Deacon’s dream trip to Ireland for a golf holiday was just weeks away, a testament to his love for the game and his zest for life.
Deacon’s love for his family was unparalleled. He cherished every moment spent with his siblings, Elijah and Cooper, and his grandparents, Roger and Sue Rhodes, and Colleen Raven. His aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews were equally dear to him, and he always made time for them. Deacon’s visits to his loved ones were always a source of joy, and his presence lit up the room.

His funeral service, led by Senior Pastor Shawn Shepherd, will be held at St. Mark Missionary Church in Mishawaka, Indiana, followed by burial at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, Michigan. Visitation will be held at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home in Elkhart, Indiana, and at the church prior to the funeral service.
