Paul was born in Kerrville, Texas, and his vibrant spirit touched the lives of many through his tireless efforts to impart knowledge and train others with his persistent dedication.

Paul is predeceased by his parents, Victor Loeffler and Cayloma Loeffler, and his brother John. He is survived by his wife Ebby, his children Valerie Reuter (Brian), Lacy Lutz (Brent), and Jason Loeffler (Ashley). His grandchildren, Cody, Avery, Barron Reuter, Lindley, and Layne Lutz will miss their grandfather’s love and guidance. He is also survived by his sister Lisa Bynum and sister-in-law Bonnie Loeffler (John). Paul’s nieces and nephews will also feel the loss of their uncle.

Paul’s legacy is one of devotion, love, and passion. For everyone who knew him, his persistent dedication to imparting knowledge and training others served as an inspiration. He worked at the Texas Section SRM Youth Range Workshop for more than thirty years, during which he influenced the lives of many young people and contributed to the development of the rangelands. He will be sincerely missed for his selfless contributions to society.

Paul’s early life was marked by his birth on December 4, 1928, in New Ulm, Minnesota, to Alois and Bertha (née Kuehn) J. Loeffler. Although he passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Wheeling’s Greek American Rehab & Nursing Center, his passing on July 3, 2024, has left a huge impact on the community. Mr. Loeffler was employed by Moore Business Forms as a supervisor of promotional services prior to his retirement, showcasing his professional expertise.

Paul was a man of many talents and passions. He was a Knights of Columbus Grand Knight, a member of the Men’s Club, and the past president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was an active member of St. Mary Parish, demonstrating his strong faith and commitment to the community. His dedication to his work and his faith has left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Paul’s love for his family was unwavering, and he is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. His family was his rock, and he was always there for them, providing love, support, and guidance. His family will cherish the memories they have of him and continue his legacy of love and devotion.

Paul’s friends and colleagues will also miss him greatly. He was a mentor and inspiration to many, and his passing has left a void in their lives. They will remember him for his tireless efforts, his passion for his work, and his unwavering dedication to those he served. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alpine Memorial Funeral Home (209 W Sul Ross Ave, Alpine, TX 79830). The service will be a celebration of Paul’s life, and those who knew him are invited to attend and share their memories of him. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of their choice in Paul’s name.

Paul may be gone, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. His devotion, love, and passion for his work and his family will never be forgotten.
