Her life was marked by a tireless commitment to the betterment of those around her, evidenced by her active involvement in a variety of local organizations and initiatives that sought to improve the quality of life in Westerly. She co-owned The Andrea Seaside Restaurant and Beach Bar in Misquamicut with her mother and sister, making it a beloved local venue known for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. Michelle’s greatest legacy is her children, Alex and Lila, who embody her qualities of kindness, generosity, intelligence, and confidence. Michelle is survived by her husband, Patrick Pinto; her children, Alex and Lila Pinto; her mother, Judith Colucci; her sister and nephew, Rebecca Colucci and Devin Brough; and Patrick’s siblings and their families: Sarah, Trevor, Patrick and Drew; Amelia, James, Calin and Harrison; John, Emily, Caroline and Connor; and Margaret and Colin. Her family and friends remember her as a pillar of strength and compassion, someone who always put others before herself and who dedicated her life to making the world a better place. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, and her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those she touched. Visiting hours for Michelle Pinto are respectfully omitted, but relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Christ Church, 7 Elm Street, Westerly at 11 am on Thursday, August 8th. Burial is private; however, a reception will follow at The Andrea, allowing those who knew and loved Michelle to come together in celebration of her life and the many ways in which she touched their hearts.
