Alongside her twin sister, Grace, Michele grew up in the dynamic and close-knit community of DeWitt, Michigan. It was here that she developed her unwavering love for animals, a passion that would shape the course of her life. From an early age, Michele knew that her calling was to work with animals. Her love for creatures great and small was evident in every aspect of her life, and this profound connection to the animal world only grew stronger as she matured.
