Obituary, Death – It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Adelaide Maronite Parish shares the news of the peaceful passing of George Nicholas Snr., a much-loved member of our community who resided in Aintourine. The loss of George has created a void that continues to reverberate through the hearts of everyone who lived with him and held him in high regard. Condolences and Gatherings
On behalf of the Adelaide Maronite Parish, we would like to extend an invitation to all of our parishioners and friends to join us in expressing our condolences and sharing in the collective grief that we are experiencing. We will be holding a gathering to express our condolences on Friday, March 1st, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at our Maronite Hall. During this gathering, members of the community will have the opportunity to come together, express their support for one another, and cherish the memory of George.
Our Maronite Hall will be the location of a Rosary at six o’clock on Monday, March 4th, followed by a Mass at six thirty. Both events will take place on the same day. In order to pay tribute to George’s spiritual journey and his profound connection to the Adelaide Maronite Parish, these moments of prayer and reflection will serve as a tribute.
Funeral Service Details
St. Marouns Parish will be the location of the Funeral Service that will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, at 10:30 am. The service will be called to say goodbye to George Nicholas Sr. During this solemn occasion, family members, friends, and parishioners will have the opportunity to come together to celebrate George’s life, offer prayers, and pay their respects to him in his final moments.
