Virginia Charlene Obituary, Death – Ocshner Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi was the location where Virginia Charlene “Gran” Rainer, who was 67 years old and from Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on March 11, 2024. Quitman, Mississippi was the location of her birth on August 5, 1956. Her parents were Charles Jordan and Betty (Stewart) Jordan.

Charlene is survived by her two daughters, Wendy M. Turner and Ashley L. Haney, as well as her son, Christopher P. Schrimpshire, who is married to Tina, her ten grandchildren, Jordan Schrimpshire, Kandace Haney, Kaydan Haney, Miranda Murray, Christopher Schrimpshire, Kayla Ward, Wesley Schrimpshire, Kobie Brown, Mason Turner, and Holden Turner, her eleven great-grandchildren, her father, Charles Jordan, her four sisters, Diane Ivy, Mary Jo Ivey, Robin (Greg) Carney, and Mollie (Robert) Starnes, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and other members of her extended family.

Virginia Charlene “Gran” Rainer, who had been born in Quitman, Mississippi, was a patient at Ocshner Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi, when she passed away on March 11, 2024. The legacy that Charlene left behind will continue to be remembered and cherished by her descendants. Her mother, Betty V. Jordan, had already died away by the time she was leaving this world. She was no longer with us. In the beginning, she was the one who started her journey away.

At the Crossroads Church Cemetery in Quitman, Mississippi, there will be a viewing on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., the day and time of the event. Arrangements have been made for the event to take place. You are cordially invited to take part in this event, and we extend this invitation to you.

Crossroads Church Cemetery is going to be the location of the burial services that are going to take place and are set to take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. the following day.
