Brad Johnson Obituary, Death – Brad Johnson, a former paramedic from the Hennepin Emergency Medical Services, passed away last night at his home in Florida. It is with a heavy heart that we relay this news. Before becoming a paramedic in May of 1992, Brad began his career with Hennepin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in September of 1987 as an EMS Dispatcher.

Within a short period of time after his retirement in February of 2016, Brad moved to the state of Florida. For more than thirteen years, Brad served his town and country with distinction, first as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in New Hope, and then as a United States Marine.

For many years, Brad served as both the Executive Officer and a charter member of the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Honor Guard. His charisma, sense of humor, and quick wit will be the things that people remember most warmly about Brad, in addition to the years of loyal work he provided.

Heartfelt condolences are extended to Brad’s family, friends, and coworkers from all of us here at the company. Johnson, who was born in Arizona and raised on a cattle ranch, dropped out of business school just below the point when he would have earned his degree in order to take a rodeo scholarship at the College of Southern Idaho.

Although he was working full-time on the rodeo circuit, he suffered a knee injury in the year 1986. On Thursday evening, his family issued a statement that was filled with sorrow, honoring a man who “lived life to the fullest” but “was taken too early.” The part of Dr. Dominick O’Malley, which Johnson played in the hit Fox drama Melrose Place, which he appeared on in 1996, was the catalyst for Johnson’s meteoric rise to stardom.

Always, a love fantasy film directed by Spileberg and released in 1989, was another one of his films in which he played the role of Ted Baker, a rising pilot. For the past few years, the actor had not been involved in any film productions; nevertheless, prior to the film’s cancellation owing to the passing of the writer and star of the film, Treasure Valley, the actor had been making preparations to make a comeback in the Western genre.
