Denver Skinner Obituary, Death – Denver Skinner Sr., the cherished patriarch of the Skinner family, who resided in Carrollton, Georgia, died away early today. As the family says their final goodbyes, their hearts are filled with pain and they are going through the process of saying their goodbyes.

As he makes his way from our earthly home to walk with the Lord in heaven, his loved ones do so with the assurance that he went away peacefully, surrounded by their affection. This knowing brings them solace. His birthday is April 18th, 1947, and he was born in Denver, Colorado.

As a veteran of the United States Army, he served in the Vietnam War. At the end of the year 1979, Glenn tied the knot with Marilyn K. Lebsock. In addition to working for the Akron Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, he was employed by the RE-3 school system, 7-11, and K-Mart.

Glenn began his career in the Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse, which is a branch of the Sheriff’s Department, and eventually became the Captain of the jail. His employment at the Port of Entry lasted until he sustained an injury.

He was a member of the Eastern Star and Shriners, the VFW Post 2551 Fort Morgan, the Elks Lodge, and the American Free and Amateur Masonic Lodge. Glenn participated in the Adult Protection Program and volunteered his time for the Department of Human Services.

” Moreover, he was a member of the Juvenile Diversion Program. His favorite instrument was the guitar, and he was a member of a band. Foster children were welcomed into Glenn and Marilyn’s home when they opened it up.

A son was adopted by them. Motorhoming, riding bikes, playing dominoes, eating out with family and friends, cooking, and later in life, drawing with his iPad were some of the activities that Glenn and Marilyn enjoyed doing together.

He never encountered a stranger and had a passion for getting to know new individuals. He took great pleasure in his coworkers and the work that he did. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 44 years; his children, Ron Skinner and family of Fort Morgan, Glenn Skinner Jr., of Fort Morgan, Luanda Puerita of Texas.

Sam Skinner of Florida, Lisa Lebsock of Fort Morgan, Malinda Hatfield of Kansas, Rodney & Sheila Lebsock of Arvada, Colorado, Darrin Skinner of Colorado, Dottie Wetzbarger of Brush; brother, Buzz Skinner of California; best friend, Mike Adams (band member); his grandchildren, Ryan, Branden, Alisha, Corey, Prestyn, Kyle, Aaron, Gavin, Eli, Abbie, Megan, Ashton, Mason, Ronnie Jr., Sierra, Joshua, Israel, Sierra Castillo, Nathaniel, Jose Jr., Winter, and Kristina Skinner. His daughter, Crystal, as well as his parents, Paul and Glenna Skinner, Bobby Wetzbarger, Butch Wetzbarger, Annie Wetzbarger, Tom Wetzbarger, Rick Biardi, and Corky Skinner, all passed away before Glenn. We are going to miss him.
