Doug Mcmillan Obituary, Death – It was Douglas B. McMillan. The city of FayettevilleMr. Douglas B. McMillan, well known as “Coach MAC,” passed away on April 4, 2021. He was 81 years old and lived in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

He served in the United States Army and then retired from his position as an assistant principal at Douglas Byrd Senior High School. Funeral services are scheduled to take place in the chapel of Wiseman Mortuary on Friday, April 9, 2021 at eleven o’clock in the morning.

The burial will take place at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. At the Wiseman Mortuary, there will be a viewing on Thursday, April 8th, from one o’clock into the evening until five o’clock.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie McMillan; his children, M. Denise Harris, Sandy McMillan, Marlon McMillan, Delgato R. Brown, Kwame E. Brown, and Tiffany E. Brown; twenty grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a large number of additional relatives and friends. His loving memory will be cherished by all of these people.

On September 25th, 2023, Douglas McMillan, who was 72 years old and lived in Topeka, Kansas, passed away. Douglas McMillan was born on February 2, 1951, in Holton, Kansas, to his parents, Nadine and Roy McMillan. He attended Highland Park School, which is located in Topeka, Kansas.

His wedding to Donna Vannordstrand took place on June 6, 1976, in Topeka, Kansas, at the residence of Donna’s parents. At Roy Johnson Saw Mill, where he worked as a motorcycle mechanic, as well as for Topeka Parks Department Maintenance, Douglas was employed several times. A member of the ABATE of Kansas, he was involved.

 

Nadine Jones and Roy McMillan, Douglas’s parents, passed away before him. Douglas succeeds them in death. His wife, Donna, his son, Douglas Jr., his sister, Marcia Johnston (Ralph), of Mayetta, Kansas; his brother, Dwayne McMillan (Judy) of Richland, Kansas; his girlfriend, Saundra McMillan, of Illinois; and his grandsons, Harley and Michael, are among those who are left behind after his passing.
