Donna Hanson Obituary, Death – At twelve thirty-eight minutes past midnight on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Carle Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria, Donna Jean Hanson, who was 95 years old and previously of Monica, died away.
She was the daughter of Dwight Boyer, who passed away, and Vivian Nelson Boyer, who also passed away. She was born on September 26, 1928 in Knox County, Illinois.
Over the course of seventeen years, Donna was employed with Auto-Owners Insurance at the position of bond underwriter until she retired in 1986. She never got bored and put in a lot of effort around the house.
Taking care of a sizable garden, preserving food in cans, and helping her spouse with a variety of odd jobs. Donna was a neighbor who was kind and kind, helping others who were in need in her immediate vicinity.
Her time spent in the Monica United Methodist Church’s former happy hour club was something she looked forward to a great deal. She was an active member of the church. In addition to that, she would assist with whatever church activity that she could, such as teaching Sunday School, working dinners, and rummage sales.
Her family was the most important thing in Donna’s life. It brought her great joy whenever her children and grandchildren came to visit, and she eagerly anticipated the next occasion when they would be able to take part in activities together.

On the 29th of June, 2021, he passed away before she did. Her son, Steve Miriam Hanson, of Edelstein, as well as her two daughters, Deborah Robert Duckworth of Princeville and Lori James Cochran of Monica, as well as seven grandsons, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews, are among those who are able to carry on her legacy.
A brother named Donald Boyer and two sisters named Audrey Wagher and Marilyn Hatch passed away before her. She was also predeceased by all three of them.
